Hammock Stand
Woodworker: Del Cover
This Viking-inspired hammock stand was a commissioned piece for Del Cover. The bent-laminated tail and carved head are teak. The eyes are paloverde, the teeth are maple, and the horns are ash. The balance is made from walnut, bubinga, and ash. The piece is 19 ft. long and stands 8 ft. high. It is finished with spar varnish.
