   It is simple pieces like this that I find the most beautiful and engaging. The lines and proportions are excellent. Out of curiosity, how is this piece upholstered?

   Thanks for the compliment. It's was supposed to be a leather upholstered seat, but the customer went with a faux leather instead. I guess it was fear of upkeep?

   I have to agree with JHightower. Beautiful clean lines and simple curves make this quite stunning piece.

   I too find the simple lines and the Krenov inspired legs very beautiful. What are the proportions, if I may ask?
