Triangle Table
Our daughter requested a “catch all” table to fit between a sofa and an easy chair. The triangular space allowed a table 22 inches wide and I made it 21 inches high. The top is walnut on the outer edge, moving inwards is birds eye maple, padauk, maple, walnut, and zebra wood. Turned legs are walnut with turned birds eye maple braces. I made a jig to accept the 60 degree angles for gluing the top. Legs are joined to the top with mortise and tenon. Leg braces were mortise and tenon joinery and I made an angle jig for drilling the leg mortises. Finished with 3 coats of varathane.
