Bee keepers wood shop
Hi im a Bee Keeper and a residential framer and i love working with wood. This is one design that came into my head year ago when i started rebuilding a horse barn that previous owners had into a workable wearhouse for bee keeping. This was an addition done to the barn house and lucky for me it had 2 seperate rooms, which were not fully closed off, so i installed a new window and a door to keep some tools and stuff away do to excessive noise from the vaccum with Dust collecor, and my 2 small compressors that i use for power tools and blowing out air from my machines when im done working. there are 8 work benches that can be used almost any time and moved to any area as they are all on lockible wheels. there is lots of storage for small tools in cabinets either under the tables or next to the work benches. the barn had bunch of old windows witch im replacing as i go along with the renovation of the barn house. in the near future i might be relocating my Lumber or Stock stands to a shed that i will be building and adding on to this shop. For now im using some new and old tools but hopeing to have all my tools upgraded in the near future due to the amount of power some tools consume and the price of electricity in the country area. I hope this layout will give some people an idea on how to layout their dream wood shops, hiding any noizy tool behind close doors that u do not have to have in the working area.
Other than that i love reading wood working magazines either hard copy or online or on my phone.
