Full Size Fort Bunk
Yes, I said full size. I built this Fort Bunk bed in a full size. One of the challenges is that 56″ wide panels are not easily available to make this neither is the 76″ front panel. To make that happen without a distinctive seam, I grooved each panel to look like planks of wood. I then hid the seam in one of the grooves. The seam is reinforced use dominos cut with the Festool Domino. – See more at: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/161450#sthash.eBUdSAwG.dpuf

That looks fantastic, Chris. Nice work hiding the seam, it's practically unnoticeable. I myself am quite fed up with the difficulty I've been having recently in finding a panel with the right size and have started ordering most of my materials online. I don't know if it's just my impression, but it seems like there are a lot more options out there.
Wow that is one majestic masterpiece you have produced! I bet any child would definitely love to sleep in that every single night. For those without kids, the fort could be transformed into a reading area with ample storage space for books and such. If you were to sell this piece of furniture, I am sure you will be able to sell more than just one unit.
