The Jorgensen Rapid-Acting bench vise is a twist-release vise with a 10-in. jaw width. It has an opening capacity of 12 in. and a racking measurement of 0.04 in. It received excellent ratings for vertical alignment and ease of use. Its steel benchdog moves easily and stays in place once set. This product was awarded the author’s choice for best overall vise.
