Better Crosscuts on the Table Saw
Get a sneak peak at JessEM's sliding table attachment for cabinet and contractor tablesawsAsa Christiana, executive editor of Fine Woodworking, took a look at the JessEM Mast-R-Slide 7500 sliding crosscut table in Las Vegas, Nevada, during the Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers annual tradeshow. In this short video, Christiana visits the JessEM booth to examine a prototype version of the tool, which was recently released to the public.
According to the Canadian tool maker, the Mast-R-Slide features a maximum crosscut capacity of 36 in., an extruded aluminum cut-off fence that extends from 28 in. to 48 in. long, and a sliding table measuring 16-3/8 in. wide by 40 in. long. It is designed to replace the left extension wing on most American-style cabinet and contractor saws.
