Waterlox Coatings Corp. - High Gloss Finish
Waterlox Original High Gloss Finish dries in about three hours to a fairly dark, semigloss finish.

The author tested 15 wipe-on finishes, including a water-based finish and both tung-oil and linseed-oil-based finishes. Pure boiled linseed oil and Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane, a brushing finish, were added for comparison. All the finishes were tested on pieces of red-oak plywood cut from the same sheet. Waterlox Original High Gloss Finish dried in three hours to a fairly dark, semigloss finish with excellent water resistance. This product was a close second to the author’s favorite, Minwax Wipe-On Poly, but at $22.99 a quart, considerably more expensive.

Sawstop Miter Gauge
It has a toothed angle-setting rack that is extremely solid, accurate, and easy to use, and it offers all of the features I love in a miter gauge, including the ability to add an auxiliary wood fence, and a flip-stop that will accommodate it.
Veritas Micro-Adjust Wheel Marking Gauge
The adjuster runs through the beam from a small knob at the back end right to the cutting wheel, which moves in and out as you turn the knob. This arrangement works well but makes adjustments a two-handed operation, requiring a little more effort.
