Fluting Fixture

Fluting is an operation that is so seldom required that it does not warrant buying special equipment for the purpose. So when I needed to flute some short columns, I made this fluting fixture from a drywall-trimming router, hardwood scraps and Plexiglas. The construction details shown in the sketch can easily be modified for your particular needs.
