Folding a Bandsaw Blade

It's trickier to explain than it is to do, so watch!

Folding a bandsaw blade is the best way to store it, says Fine Woodworking shop manager John White, but it takes some practice to get it right. In this video, he demonstrates a simple technique that gets the job done quickly and safely. He also suggests wearing gloves if the blade is wider than 1 in.

I prefer to wear gloves any time I do this, especially with new blades.
