Sometimes, in striving for that perfectly snug joint, we can make it too snug, and small structural cracks appear. Other times cracks can result from stress inside the wood. The question is not how they appear, but how you fix them. In this video, Chicago furniture maker Jeff Miller demonstrates his ingenious method for fixing cracks with a special “applicator” that gets the glue where it needs to be achieve a strong bond.
