Adjustability, safety, and ease of use are key elements of this shopmade sledRichard Beebe makes a lot of Shaker-style furniture in his Hamden, Connecticut, basement shop, and many of the pieces have tapered legs. His prefered method of tapering is on a tablesaw, but commercially available jigs didn’t feel safe, so he designed his own. In this video, Beebe demonstrates how his jig makes tapering two- or four-sided legs a cinch.
