A proper jig should serve two basic woodworking functions: securing a workpiece and guiding a cutter. The Leigh FMT Jig’s pin-and-template guide system not only meets these criteria but also comes as close to foolproof as can be imagined. Such is the opinion of Boston trim carpenter and cabinetmaker Michael Standish. Assembly and setup require some time, depending upon your familiarity with the tool, but once set, multiple, precise and predictable fitted joints can be expected, as demonstrated in this video.

WOW! for $1400 I can have a single dedicated tool without the router that does very little (for the money).
