I have built a number of these after watching Mr. Pekovich's videos on the various bench jigs he finds helpful. They are my most used jigs (bench hooks). Fantastic video, and be sure to check out all the Pekovich videos.
You didn’t note if you squared the ‘stop’ piece to the side of the hook. I would assume that would be mandatory, although I recognize the hook would still be useful for a number of applications even if un-square.
