IWF 2006: Freud Introduces New Combination Blade
All-purpose tablesaw blade tackles softwood, hardwood, plywood, and melamine in a variety of cutting operationsBit and blade maker Freud introduced a new all-purpose tablesaw blade at the 2006 International Woodworking Fair (IWF) called the Premier Fusion, which is designed to plow through solid wood lumber, plywood, and melamine. A unique double side-grind and 30-degree top bevel on the cutting teeth promise to eliminate tearout no matter the material or cutting operation, according to the company.
