The Juntaro Mitsukawa, available through Tools for Working Wood, is a crosscut saw. It performed very well in our crosscut tests, and it has the longest blade and handle of the saws that were tested. This expensive, handmade saw is an exceptionally smooth cutter, although probably to a degree that would interest only the true connoisseur.
