Router Table Box-Joint Jig — Video in German
Use this well-engineered, adjustable jig to cut box joints of all sizes on the router tableHOW IT WORKS |
Box joints, also known as finger joints, are a decorative and sturdy method for joining drawers, boxes, and carcases. This joint consists of interlocking fingers and sockets, which are easily cut with power tools. Many woodworkers cut box joints with a dado blade on the tablesaw. But that’s not the only option. In this video, German woodworker Guido Henn demonstrates a shopmade jig in his native tongue. He designed it to cut variably sized box joints on the router table. Click here to watch it in English.
