Furniture in the Arts & Crafts style is the favorite of one in three participants on Knots, the user forum at FWW.Com. Shaker was the runner-up, favored by one in four. The 18th century style came in third, favored by about one in five respondents.

As the graph above shows, those three furniture styles are the favorite of four out of five Knots users. A total of 794 people voted in the poll, which ended on Oct. 12.

Among the other favorite styles mentioned in Knots messages were these:

“Contemporary studio furniture.”

“Campaign or military style furniture with solid brass inlay, etc.”

“Nouveau retro, a mix between art nouveau, arts and crafts, and a bit of 70s.”

“For sheer efficiency, economy, and ease of transportation, it is hard to beat the furniture at Ikea.”

“I for one have no problem with any style of furniture.”
