Ridgid - Ridgid R4330 Benchtop Planer
The Ridgid R4330 has a motor rated at 15 amps and uses three 13-in. bladesThe Ridgid is a good machine with a reasonable price tag. Dust collection is adequate and can work with or without a dust collector. Blade changes were fussy because the small gap between the frame and cutterhead made lifting the blade away from the cutterhead difficult. The planer leaves a good surface.
