Please speak English The word is SOLDER not Sodder. Spelt
S-O-L- D- E -R.
The word you're looking for is s-p-e-l-l-e-d. The word "spelt" refers to a type of grain used in Europe to feed livestock. Please get your your facts straight before you criticize others
Hi:
I am not going to say anything about your English, because the subject is more important. How do you do the Marquetry within the same piece of wood? The cabinet looks great with both types of accents on it.
English is fine - pronounced "sodder" regardless of spelling. One may have a problem with calling surface tension capillary action... And calling a soldering iron a soldering gun... Or the lack of any protection against breathing the lead fumes... But otherwise, an interesting piece!

OK, you have shown us how to do it. But do you really rely on the adhesive to survive the heat from the melted solder? I have done this before with out the copper foil tape and used epoxy to hold it in place. But this requires cutting the recess twice. Sure wouldn't want to try doing this type of inlay as the last part of a project. He spent more time talking about his soldering "gun" than anything else.
