Here's another way to use bits from a hollow-chisel mortiser.
What’s the quickest way to make a square hole for the decorative pegs often used in Craftsman-style furniture? For Jack Hinkel, of Apex, N.C., it involves a hollow-chisel mortising bit honed to a razor sharp edge. In this short video, Fine Woodworking staffer Tom McKenna demonstrates the process.
