The Groz 9-in. Rapid Action bench vise is a twist-release vise with a 9-in. jaw width. It has an opening capacity of 13 in. and a racking measurement of 0.09 in. A wooden front jaw has to be added to this vise in order to get a benchdog. The Groz 9-in. Rapid Action bench vise received excellent ratings for vertical alignment and ease of use, and it was also awarded the author’s choice for best value.
