Using rabbet planes, snipes bills and a few hollows and rounds, Don shows you how. Traditional Molding Techniques: Cornice Moldings is broken into sections including design, cutting rabbets, creating the cornice elements, and carving the fluting. McConnell has been making furniture and studying traditional tools and woodworking for more than 25 years. (This is a companion DVD to Traditional Molding Techniques: The Basics from 2007).

good info, this will allow an upcoming project to be unique. 2 fireplace mantels with surrounds and a vaulted ceiling moldings.
Push me down the slipper slope. If I should happen upon this video, no doubt I'm going to have to buy Don's other video along with Larry's video on make side escapement planes. This will no doubt consume months of my life as I find yet another obsession. If I win the video, then of course all of this will not have been my fault, so....
If I don't win it I'll most likely buy it anyway. The last one, "traditional molding techniques-the basics" was awesome.
Don's first dvd was great! I would expect this one would have the same high quality material. Thanks for the opportunity.
