Members of the New Hampshire Furniture Masters Association (NHFMA) are prepping for their 2009 auction, which will happen on Sept. 20 at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH. This year’s auction will feature 18 pieces from master furniture makers and two from the Furniture Masters’ Prison Outreach Program. There’s also a silent auction in which smaller, more modestly priced pieces are sold.
Tickets are $75 per person in advance ($82.50 at the door). The doors open at 6; bidding starts at 7:30. It’s a great opportunity to talk furniture with some of the best in the business.
You can preview the exhibition at the New Hampshire Historical Society’s library, 30 Park Street, Concord, through September 16.
