The Hitachi DS18DSAL 18-volt cordless drill is 8-1/4-in. long and received an excellent comfort rating and a very good torque rating. It has a good battery life and a charge time of 36 minutes. The Hitachi DS18DSAL was the lightest and most comfortable drill in this tool test, although the clutch was a bit weak at its highest setting.
