I think Zany Wooden Toys That Whiz, Spin, Pop, and Fly: 28 Top-Secret Projects You Can Build from the Toy Inventor’s Workshop by Bob Gilsdorf would make a great holiday gift! You could give it to a young or old woodworker – just someone who would enjoy making these fun toys and then want to play with them later. The book includes plans, drawings and photos to help you make such things as the “10 Cent Labyrinth Challenge”(send a dime through a pocket size maze); “U-Draw Instamatic Camera”; a “Ball-and-Socket Robot”; a number of different Gumball Machines, and lots more. There are a total of 28 fun projects included in the book.
Lucky Robertm348 is the winner. His comment was chosen at random. Maybe he’ll post some photos in our gallery of the goodies he makes from the book.
And check back to see his “review post”.

How fun, perfect timing for X-Mas. I cobbled together some primitive toys when I was a kid - who didn't make their own scooter out of a metal roller skate and a couple of 2 x 4's. Now that I have some skills, it'd be a kick to make some kids' toys for the little ones.
Heck yeah, I've got a kid on the way! How fun would that be?
I'm an elementary school teacher, so these would be fun to build for my kids.
Thanks for the opportunity
Would be great for the grandkids

This book would be a great gift for my neighbor. He is amazing at Wood Working and made me the most beautiful table. If I gave him this book I could get some nice toys in return for my children. Good tradeoff.
