While on Maui I met a Samoan man who lived there and had about six chisels, a broken stone for sharpening, and turned out beautiful work from Koa wood. It left in indelible print in my mind and I returned to my carving nook with a greater enthusiasm for the joy of carving. Please enter me for this wonderful looking book. Thank you.
As a self tought furniture maker I use many books for techniques and inspiration, Taunton books make up most of my reference library. Cultural definitions and interpetations of furniturecan be truly facinating.
Someday I'll get there. Until then, this fine representation of woodworkers will have to do.
Just taking the time to say "Hi" to Betsy, and of course all active woodworkers.
Best,
Serge
