Traditional Finishing Techniques (from the New Best of Fine Woodworking) is a collection of articles from Fine Woodworking magazine that might help you with your next finishing project. A free book. Wow, just in time to start my finishing project.
Looks like an interesting book. I am starting a Greene and Greene project and this book would be helpful.
I don't have this particular title but it would make a nice addition to my Fine Woodworking series. As always Thanks for the chance to further my woodworking knowledge.

Looks like a great book. Thanks.
can always use more info on good finishes
I have been more focused on building things then finishing them so I could really use the help here.
Could use some pointers on finishing.
I would love to learn to use something besides whipe on finishes. Maybe this book could help?
I would love to win this book. I really struggle with finishing, so I buy/search/read as much info as I can on the subject. Somehow I always end up with a very basic poly finish for fear of ruining my project.
By the way I believe the cover of this book is definitely an attention grabber.
I am pretty new to woodworking and I have gotten less than optimum results on the finishing stages of my projects. Any help I could get would be appreciated I think I need to do some serious research. My problems are uneven look, brush marks, (then I sand them with real fine sandpaper and we are back to uneven) I guess practice makes perfect.
Another great give away. I never got the Kreg jig I won, so maybe I could win this and not get it.
I have a problem finishing what I start, so I think this book may help.
More information on finishing is always needed. To Learn new or brush up on old ideas and methods that we may have forgotten or become lax with.
I could sure use it! Maybe I wouldn't hate finishing so bad if I knew what I was doing.
I have always loved Fine Woodworking magazine so books recommended by them have a great reference value. I can never learn enough about building or finishing; both have their intricacies. I am really only comfortable with poly or Danish oil finishes so any help would be greatly appreciated. With money really tight these days, "free" is an attention grabber!
Free is good.
I can always use some help in figuring out the mysteries of finishing. Count me in
I would love to win this book!
I'm always collecting and reading new books to assist in my woodworking adventures.
Looks like a great book.
I'm a novice woodworker, and this book would go a long way in helping me learn proper technique.
What I don't know about finishing would fill a book twice this size. Consider me in the running.
I am a begining woodworker and any information I can gather will help me with my future in woodworking. Please consider me
Thank You, Eric S.
I certainly could use the knowledge, count me in...
