The most powerfull memory from my woodworking mentor, who was also my grandfather, was the simple ladder back easy chair on his front porch. The photo on the cover realy brings some good memories. It would be a joy to read and maybe build one just like that...

My Great uncle Chester Cornett was a chairmaker and I've recently gotten very interested in the art and would love to have a copy of this book to help me along and possably give me the inspiration to continue in my uncles footsteps

It has been more than six month since I made a Brian Boggs style shaving horse. The horse is BOGGING (begging) me to put it in good use. Please, help me to put this matter not the horse to rest.

Ladderback chairs are what I consider one of the more interesting designs to make, and with the knowledge gained from this book, I won't put building them off any longer. Now if I can only get my hands on some lumber, maybe some nice oak or some birdseye mable.... I really hope I'm picked to receive this book, hint, hint.
