I made 4 wood dump trucks with the child's name laser marked on a side. Also, 8 nameplates from pecan also laser marked. In the back the nameplates have keyhole slots for hanging and holes to stick in short pieces of dowel if the recipient wants to set them on a desk. The dowels are set into grooves if they are not used.
The laser marking was done by a local shop. I just gave them a Word document with the names full sized.

So far I have made a wall clock, three desk clocks and am working on a toy/blanket chest for a great, great granddaughter.

I've made four giant cheese boards/platters from two french oak wine barrel lids and bases that were given to me. Great gift for the inlaws.
