Great project, I want to scale this up and make my wife a pair of cabinets but they will be 4 ft tall. With a larger, heavier door would you still recommend a knife hinge,
Thanks
Oscar
Love Tim's teaching and beautiful work! These are among the best videos FW has ever produced, partly because of Tim's organization and clear narration, and because there is no annoying amateurish out-of-tune music. ONE BIG COMPLAINT is, we used to be able to watch the entire series with one click. Now we have to watch section-by-section. Very annoying. WHY did FW do this?
I agree, that was nice. That was a tradeoff with the new site. Sadly, wouldn't couldn't keep that function.
Enjoyed. And would like to second the comment about how much more pleasant these videos were without all the extraneous introductory music.
What a wonderful series of instructional videos. Love Timothy Rousseau’s teaching style. Makes me think I, too, might be able to accomplish something as beautiful and this cabinet. Thanks for sharing.
Ditto to the above comments. As an amateur I find Tim's videos the most comprehensive and informative of all. He explains with such ease and detail that tells me "I can do that".
Great presentation and fine woodwork, Tim! Thank you!
Tim, you’re a master and I really love your teaching style as well as your exacting techniques and great tips. Looking forward to your next one.
Thanks
Randy
I literally couldn't stop watching! Finished the whole workshop in one sitting. Love Tim's teaching style and pace. There are so many great lessons in this workshop - I know I'll come back to review as I execute similar operations on my projects.
Second time I’ve watched this. Tim, please hurry up and make another.

Great presentation skills! The project is beautiful. Thanks!
Tim--
Great work as always, Tim. I really appreciate your calm and precise teaching style. This video collection is one of the reasons I decided to learn as much as I could about woodworking and furniture design.
I am a student at Palomar College - Cabinetry and Furniture Technology program. For my Machine Woodworking class, I am making a matched pair of frame-and-panel nightstands as my final project. I would appreciate some assistance sourcing the Brusso knife hinges and ball catch that you use for this project. Would you please provide a link or the name of a source for purchasing this hardware? I really like the hidden yet functional fit and finish of these brass fittings.
Thank you so much for your support. I'd like very much to send you pictures of the final product(s) if you are interested. Several other students in my class are making the same nightstand for their projects. Your work has inspired many aspiring woodworkers at Palomar CFT. This small cabinet, in particular, is a common project for many students taking this class.

They have some lovely stuff
Really good learning. I have been a self taught woodworker from cutting the tree to providing finished furniture for my home. Great to see small tips that I should have used 30 years ago.
Look forward to more insight
