Chairmaking history discovered in a house and its townSynopsis: You can call it karma if you like. Whatever it was, it felt like more than coincidence when Windsor chairmaker Peter Galbert entered what would soon become his new home. It seems the house had been built in 1801—by a Windsor chairmaker. And it was located in a town that once had no fewer than 23 chairmakers at work cranking out quality seating.
