Over the course of the past three days, Taunton Press and its various franchise publications have received a beautiful outpouring of messages from those of you worried about the course of events last Friday here in Newtown, CT. Various employees at the company-members of the Taunton family-were impacted by the day’s tragic events, as they have children enrolled at Sandy Hook Elementary School. While we are thankful that none of them suffered losses, we remain immensely sorrowful for those community members that did. Our most sincere thanks to all of you who have expressed your collective grief over the loss of so many lives on December 14, 2012.

For those of you interested in charitable support of victims’ families, the United Way of Western Connecticut has partnered with Newtown Savings Bank to create the Sandy Hook School Support Fund.
