The first-ever Fine Woodworking Live was a hit, making the next one a sure thing. It is happening August 8-11, 2013, at the campus of Southern Connecticut State University, in New Haven, CT. And the Fine Woodworking Live website is up and taking registrations.
There you will also find complete info on the event, lodging, and everythiung else. What you might not see yet is the affordable dorm option for lodging, and the pre-show tour of Yale’s amazing furniture collections. Both are coming soon.
The venue is more accessible this year, centrally located between Boston and New York, and less than an hour from the Hartford/Springfield airport, with a range of great lodging options nearby. What’s more, we’ve been able to make the price even more affordable.
But the improvements don’t end there. This year, based on attendee feedback, all classes are electives (aside from a couple of all-conference seminars) meaning you are in charge.
We have other surprises in store, too. So sign up today to reserve your spot.

Great! I can't wait for the 2013 edition of FWW Live!
On my calendar already.
If the price is right... I will be there. Coming from FL, so I need to start saving NOW lol.
Hope to see you guys there. FYI, we just landed the legendary Brian Boggs as our banquet speaker.
Fantastic!......and I'm only 45 minutes from New Haven. It will be the highlight of my summer.
NICE! It's great to see such an event right here in Connecticut.
Folks thinking of attending may want to note that New Haven does have limited airline service from US Air. Bradley / Hartford will probably be better, but it's worth a look.
Calendar marked!
I'm interested in attending but don't see the specific schedule for the elective courses on the schedule page.
Hi Asa,
Registration: done
Flight tickets: done
Hotel reservation: done
Yes, I will be there again!!!
Greetings from Brasil.
The is no specific schedule yet, Linuxguy. When you register you pick what you want, and then we hand you your schedule at the event. That will let us adjust how many times we repeat certain classes based on demand. See you there. You too, Geniole!
I come from France and really enjoy this event.. Thank the staff for the good and cool atmosphere ... May I suggest to make at the end of the next session, a group picture including everybody as a souvenirs..

I just bought my tickets for the show and banquet but where do I register for the electives. Thanks and can't wait to see everyone there!
Can my wife go on the Yale tour without a separate conference registration?
Yes, a spouse or friend can buy the Yale tour without buying a conference pass.
Sorry about the electives confusion. The is no specific schedule for classes until we know how many people want what. Less than a week after registering for the conference, you'll receive an email asking you to choose your classes (electives). Then at the event, you'll get an individualized schedule.
Hey Asa,
Missed last year's event, but already registered for this August. Can't wait !! Quick question, do paid attendees get copies of all the session videos?
Thanks,
Erick
Hate to criticize what I'm sure will be a fine event, but some of us need to know a schedule for the electives in order to detrermine which day or days to register for. I think you've got the cart before the horse.
