As the former Guitar Doctor of Stars Guitars in San Francisco, Ca., it was always amazing what the price of wood was. O.k., this is for everyone who's "Amazed" at how much it costs to buy the "Instrument Grade" hardwood we use for building [and/or repairing] musical instruments; especially electric ones of any thickness. (A wheelbarrow full of Krugerands", as Ron Armstrong used to put it.) This tip that I just ran across might make what we make a little less unaffordable - at least for the fixers and makers.
