Would love to have this book to study the Greene and Greene techniques.
I love the Arts & Crafts style. Would be a great addition to my library.
Having just read poems of light and wood, this would make a great addition to my foray into working in the G&G style!
Would love to have this book.
I was able to visit one of the Greene and Greene houses last summer, so inspiring. I'd love to get this book.

Planing some G&G inspired projects this summer. This would be good research material.
Arts and craft furniture tends to be a little plain but G&G has a flair.
This looks like a great book to own
Looks like a good read.
Would love to build a G&G piece at some point, and this book would certainly be a help.
Who wouldn't want to build/design Greene and Greene? Bring it on!

Oooh! Oooh! Oooh! Pick me! Pick me!
This would be a great resource.
Looks like a great book to add to my shop.
Another hat in the ring!
A nice Book. I enjoy building Craftsman style furniture. The next step is Green &Green This would help me pick out a piece to build.
Thank You
I had the privledge to tour the Gamble House this past weekend and was inspired by the craftmanship that went into every piece on display. In short mind boggling.
This book would hopefully inspire me to actually build something Greene and Greene. It would hopefully go well with the Shaker furniture I've leaned towards.
It's amazing how this style still inspires great furniture.
This would be a great book to develop some ideas for some furniture that needs to be built for my house.
The Greene and Greene style is inspiring and adds a wonderful challenge to woodworking.
I visited the Gambel House with my girlfriend, and she found a new respect for the texture of wood. Now that I'm taking up woodworking this is a good way to draw her away from asking that her projects be painted.
I saw examples of the book's concise, descriptive text and of the wonderful and useful photos within. Should I not be fortunate enough to be selected, I suppose I will need to assemble funds to purchase a copy for myself, most likely through the sale of one of our children...
Love the Greene and Greene Style and would love to have this book, as I build my own Greene and Greene-influenced furnishings.
Would really like to have this book,Thank you.
I think it's great how almost 100 years later the Greene brothers seem to having a large and fast growing following. If I won this book, I'd build a coffee table to hold it that would hopefully be worthy of it!
Must be due to win
Love to have this book as it focuses on the Arts & Crafts tradition that I'm focused on in my woodworking! Please pick me and I'll not only give this book a proper home but it will see good use in inspiring projects for me and others in my life!
I'm in. Thanks!
I have been looking for plans for a g&g bookcase for some time. i Hope this book might help me desighn my own bookcase
I'd love to win this book since the book I purchased originally over 20 years ago didn't offer much detail on the Green & Green techniques. Books like this one inspire me to build a piece of furniture in tribute to some of the past greats in the woodworking trade.
This would be a great book to study
I have built three tables using Darrell's first book as a guide. Darrell has guided my increasing interest in the Greene and Greene style. I look forward to getting this new book.
baby needs new shes
First saw G and G house on Tommy Mac episode. Now sure would like to see the book.
I like the style. A few project ideas wouldn't go astray.
Would really like to have this book
Absolutely love Greene and Greene (currently working on a piece similar to their Ford House Server). FYI - I've never won anything!
Artistry to inspire
I don't care if I win it or not, I'm going to OWN this book either way. Mr. Peart is an extant expert in the vernacular of G&G furniture. Schweeeeet!
I fell in love with the flowing style of their arts and crafts furhiture designs. I am glad someone is delving into showcasing their ideas, and would like to see more of this style in print.
looking into building a G&G headboard...book would be a great help
Came across Greene and Greene with Darrell Peart on the web. I was so enthused after reading the article and watching the video I ordered some African Ebony and various sizes square hole punches from Lee Valley & Veritas. Sure would make my day to enjoy the pages of this wonder book.
Thank You for your time and have a great day..........Gene
The use of the Fibonacci series to mimic nature and make lines that please the eye along with the functional look of the ebony plugs has always attracted me to this style. I'm sure Darrel Peart has some great insight on this beautiful style!
Count me in the pictures alone are inspiring.
Would be a great addition to my library
This will inspire me to build a few more Green and Green pieces
looks like a great book!
Dynamite! Include me in, please.
Until today, I had never heard of the Greene & Greene style, but I do like the samples shown in your picture gallery.
If I am not the lucky guy to win the book, I will probably buy it.....
I've always admired Darrell's talent and skills, so this book would be appreciated.
Looks like a great reference for a builder of G & G furniture
Awesome opportunity to learn new techniques.
Darrell's first book was excellent. I look forward to reading this one.
I'm always motivated by Darrell's work and look forward to any article or book he is associated with. Wish i could work with him for a few months.
After first seeing the G&G style, I was inspired to begin building furniture. Since then I have created many pieces in the G&G style. This book would be great to have as a reference piece to allow my to continue my development.
I have loved G&G furniture (and homes) ever since I discovered them. The blend of Arts and Crafts and Oriental is spectacular!
Never really built anything in the Greene & Greene variation of Arts and Craft, never too late to start, and the book would be a fine resource. Thanks for the opportunity.
I only learned about G&G a few years ago. I would really love this book to further my knowledge of their work.
Darrell's work is gorgeous. This looks like a fine book to own.
I'm hoping to get this book. Need to compare to other A&C furniture.
Darrell is the Greene & Greene man!
Dave
I love Greene & Greene style; I try to incorporate a design element of theirs in most commissioned works.
My Favorite furniture style, but not just furniture..G&G ceramics are beautiful also. Buying this book to add to the library.
Lokks like a really nice book, and a really idea to give it away !
cheers !
Their furniture has had me in awe over the last 30 years and I have started incorporating design elements in my project of late with the help of articles found in FWW. This book will be a fine addition to my library.
I've long admired G&G designs. Sadly, I've yet to attempt one. Zero cloud lifts, ebony pulls, and wedged tenons in my work to date. Someday....
I have another Pearl bok on G & G shop drawings - a great inspiration for adapting style elements to my projects.
I have already one of his books, it is good reading and it explains the woodworking process very well.
I would love to add this book to my collection.
A style of furniture making that allows the true craftsman to shine through.....!! Many of us will aspire to....!!
"a comment"
This caught my attention. I'd like to explore...
Beautiful furniture style.
An interesting read for sure
The Greene & Greene style makes any house feel like a home!
Darrell's books are a treasure trove of G&G masterpieces. If G&G hadn't originated these masterful strokes of woodcraft genius, Darrell would have! Recommended for all serious wood workers.
Thank you for the opportunity to win this book. You guys do a great job keeping things fresh and interesting.
Darell, definitely does justice to a great furniture style and tradition. I have admired his work for years.
The organic look of Green and Green has always appealed to me. Maybe this book will give me the guts to try a project.
I love the Craftsman style in furniture and houses. It should be used more.
How could a wood worker not be enamored with G&G style? Thanks to Darrell for keep the tradition up to date, so to speak.
Can't wait to win and learn how to create G&G details.
G&G.....love the look.
Perhaps this book will give me some ideas for the G&G chair I promised I would make for my wife.
anything arts and crafts is at the very least , interesting-G+G is really cool!
Greene and Greene imparted genuine class to the oft-times clunky Craftsman style. The book looks to be a good overview of their work.
Beautiful!
I'm a fan. I used his plans as a basis for a pair of nighstands, so I'm looking forward to seeing what's in this book.
I have Darrell's first book and this would be a companion piece for it in my library. His extensive knowledge of the Greene & Greene style and construction is very helpful in my projects.
There's something genetic about the way that G&G designs "bell true" in us when we see it. All of us "bell" when we see beauty, but G&G beauty goes deeper - and it comes from all of our genes. G&G beauty is very, very, very old in each of us.
Just finished a coffee table/ bench using the G&G techniques in Darrel's first book. I'm a big fan.
G&G is my favorite furniture style. I would love to own this book.
Takes Frank Lloyd Wright to a new level.
Just started drawing Darrell Peart's Arched Aurora End Table in Google Sketchup. Having his book on hand would be very helpful.
I am finishing the design of a credenza, a hybrid between Greene and Greene and modern styles. Having this book will provide important insights to improve the design!
I've always loved the Greene and Greene details. My dream is to build a house one day and use all of their techniques on the trim and furniture!
I really need to build something in the Green & Green style one of these days. The book would provide motivation and direction.
Greene & Greene details adds a lot of custom touches the standard Craftsman Styles
Greene and Greene are my favorite designers by far. I recently made an entertainment center in their style which came out beautifully. I just happened to see a video by William Ng showing how to create a breadboard end in the G&G style and followed his suggestions. I am hungry for more.
I'm very interested in this book.
I will through my hat in the pool. :)
this would go nicely with his first book sitting on my bookshelf
I love Greene! So Greene and Greene is twice as nice!
My wife and I (and Louis - our Cat) live in a 1914 Craftsmen and we are in the process of having the house painted Greene. I have several Greene shirts that I love and when I work overtime at work I make more Greene.
My wife says wearing Greene helps my Wood! (Don't get excited you woodworkers... she's Chinese.)
So a couple of Greenes would be a welcome addition to my bookcase!
These designers understood wood. Enter me for a copy!
Does the author have any relation to Neil Peart? The master woodworkers always amaze me.
My wife would ask me "why can't you make stuff like this?"
Count me in would love to win this book.
Got my two front teeth...so I will wish for a copy...Christmas early maybe?
Love the look of Greene and Greene.
I've read a multitude of books on Greene & Greene, but this one is top of the heap. It covers the strictly traditional elements of the furniture, while the detailed information on techniques encourages making your own designs in this style. Highly recommended - I just wish I owned it !
I am working on a Greene and Greene style dining table. This book will be a valuable guide to performing special detailing.
Love their furniture and would love to have this book in my collection.
Who would not want to know as much as they can about G&G.
Sounds great
Looks interesting
Darrell has been a resource for me in my Green and Green efforts so far. I would like to get hold of a copy of this book.
Thanks for the opportunity to win a copy.
Would be a great addition to my add to my collection of Arts and Crafts Books.
Looks interesting
I have more of the Greene & Greene styles online, but more shaker styles in the furniture stores. I am thinking about building more in the Greene & Greene style to see if it will catch on. This book looks to be a good blue print on the mechanics of the style.
An excellent looking book to add to my library.
Greene and Greene always inspiring.
The thoughtful details are what reflect their true grasp of Craftsmanship.
I would love to own this book
OK, I'm in.
Darrel is great at showing how to build in this understated elogant style.
I love the Greene & Greene style. This book would give me an additional incentive to build something in that style.
Checked out the preview on Amazon, photography and drawings are well chosen and executed. I would love to own this book as well as the authors first.
I like the Greene and Greene Style and I Would Love to own the Book.
Beautiful piece on the cover I would love to build something like this.
I already have the book, so this is more of an FYI. The book is great, but if you don't have Darrell's first book, I highly recommend getting it. The only overlap between the books are in areas where he presents updated methods for fabricating some of the details. The first book also include more of the G&G and Hall history. The two really are a set. And for a non-professional writer, Peart is fabulously readable.
The competition just got stiffer. I'm feelin' lucky.
I just made a Greene & Greene style bed for my son. I'd love to add other details upcoming projects.
I have read his first book many times. I use the G&G influence on many projects.
I'm game - love Greene & Greene!
I love the Greene & Greene style and Mr. Peart's first book on the subject.
Love Greene & Greene style! Please count me in.
I've taken a few courses by Darrell and I'm signed up for another. He's a great teacher. I loved his first book (which I have), a companion book would be great
Somebody gets to win, why not me. Love Greene and Greene.
I gotta retire do work on some projects like the ones in this book
I've taken a class from Darrell, and his plans and presentation are excellent. Love to have a copy of the new book.
G & G is on my bucket list. Still need to work through my other A & C list first, then tackle the softer side of A & C. Count me in.
I own a few books on A & C furniture. This book would be a nice addition.
If this is anywhere as good as his "Design Elements for the Woodshop" book I really look forward to getting a copy.
i have darrell's first book, and am in process of making a G&G style hall table. i would love to get his 2nd book as well. thanks for the chance.
Dying to try G&G style. Only problem is I never seem to finish one project before starting another. ;-D
The first volume was great. I'd love to have the second one to add to my collection (and knowledge)!
