Funeral Chair Part 6 |
Part VII in my ongoing series covering the construction of the Funeral Chair brings us to the end of this particular build: glue-up.
Just as with many other woodworking projects, glue-up has to happen in stages. Begin with the seat frame and slats, allowing them to cure before moving on to the front leg assembly. After that cures, move on to the back assembly.
For even more information on how to build this project, and many others, be sure to have a look at my new book, The Unplugged Woodshop.
Please note that I’ll be back next week with one more installment in this series, covering the leather seat variation.
