Coming to San Francisco: The students of the College of the Redwoods Fine Woodworking program will be bringing their work to San Francisco for a special show at the end of May. Handmade/Mindmade will display work created by the students during their intensive nine month program in Fort Bragg, California.
For over 30 years the school has quietly been shaping students into some of the finest furniture makers in the country. People come from all over the world to attend the program, dedicating themselves to “quality and sensitivity in craft through the curriculum and values established by James Krenov.”
So, head on over to the Dogpatch Café and Gallery to see what the students have been up to this year. I’m sure the show will be full of some great projects. And you can meet and mingle with the makers at a reception on May 23 from 6-8.
