This gauge zeroes in quickly and the back-lit angle display is easy to read. While the head was accurate, tightening the handle threw it out of its setting. The simple, fixed-length fence comes with a micro-adjustable flip-stop and a fixed stop. This bar is the only non-adjustable one tested and had a sloppy fit in the miter slot, making for an inconsistent performance throughout the tests.
