Phil has always been an enjoyable craftsman to learn from. Thanks Phil for sharing your knowledge.
It is a pleasure to watch a skilled craftsman work to make such a classic piece, particularly when he uses hand tools.
He has very good instructing skills and it is very generous of him to take his time to teach others.
Thank you, Mr. Lowe
Phil is a fine craftsman, and an excellent teacher. I've watched this video workshop many times. Not because I think I can approach Phil's level of skill, but because I enjoy watching a master at work.
My bench is similar to Phil's, in that I only have a front vise and some dog holes. If possible, I'd like to see him do a video on his work holding techniques.
Thanks
Phil did you nail the back of the draw bottoms, or use screws, or something else? Also did you install a lock in the top drawer, or just a false plate?
Philip you are the master. This beautiful period piece is absolutely astonishing. I loved every minute of this video and will watch again. I’m going to try and build this piece which I know will challenge every skill I have and those I need to practice. Thanks very much!
