Book + Woodworking = Awesome
Looks like a very nice book.
I'd like to see that Greene & Greene writing desk project...
My tools are standing ready to do some Arts & Crafts.
Looks like a great book.
Love his work and have some of his work in my family room would buy the book anyway. Gustave Stickly bow arm chair was my first attempt at that period of furniture.
Great looking book :)
Arts & Crafts is for me an inspiring way to make incredible furniture and to make the most of beautiful material. That's why I'd love to have this book...
Gregory Paolini doing Arts & Crafts sound good to me!
I am lucky enough to live near the Stickley home in Syracuse, NY. I can go to the showroom and drool over the furniture, take photos and measurements and the folks there actually encourage it! So far I have two Stickley pieces, a 1910 Gustav bow arm chair and a 1917 bookshelf. I built another bow arm, two spindle beds, a hall table, two stools and am currently building a dining room sideboard. I use cherry and quarter sawn red and white oak that I obtain from a friend's wood lot. Oh yeah, it's real nice being retired! Winning this book would sure help me to build projects to donate to my church's mission work, for sale at fundraisers. Thanks Fine Woodworking! I've been a subscriber for many years and you are the best!
I have the Quartersawn White Oak on hand and two grandchildren, 1 boy and 1 girl, that are wanting to learn woodworking. This book would be an excellent book to get them started and I am certain I would also learn from it.
This would be a great inspiration to start making something in the Arts & Crafts style; it would have to be the bookcase first, followed by the Morris chair in which to sit and admire it!
I have been a fan of Gregory Paolini for quite some time. I have watched the video on building the Morris Chair so many times that I decided to build the bow arm Morris chair in the video. I'm in the process of putting the finish on the chair now and will upload photos when done. I would love to have this book in my library. I have been a big fan of Stickley Furniture and Greene & Greene. I would really like to win this book.
I love the arts and craft style and I'm planning to make some furiture to replace the hodge podge of hand me down furniture in my living room. This book would give me a good start.
always looking for more reference materials . I live in an a and c house. and hope to fill it with period furniture
I would love to have this book to help me improve my arts and crafts skills.
Arts and Crafts is my favorite style of furniture and Gregory Paolini's articles have always been an inspiration. I'm currently finishing a QSWO dining table, and six chairs. This book would be a great addition to my library.
Looks like a great book with projects by a master craftsman.
I'll take a chance!
Building a variety of styled for my Grandkids as they marry is my chalice and this volume would add greatly to my skills and choices
I'm in!
love arts and crafts furniture....fingers crossed
For the Morris chair, I wonder if there is also a matching stool to rest your feet on. Would be very helpful, although I suppose a coffee table design could be scaled down for the same purpose.
Just last week, I was looking at my rolled up fuming tent. It's been over a decade since I made the Morris Chair that my son's family now enjoys. Suddenly, this book offer comes along! Whether I win a copy or have to buy one, it looks like the "signs and portents" are telling me something. :)
Looks great!
I love Arts & Crafts furniture. AND I love real books, with real covers and real pages. This will be a great one to add to my library. Lets the random draw force be with me.
I recently had the pleasure of taking Gregory Paolini's woodworking fundamentals class where I built a Greene and Greene hall table. I would greatly enjoy building more Arts & Crafts furniture projects to develop my skills. Greg is a terrific instructor and I'm sure his book would provide new techniques adding to the ones I learned in his class.
I have been considering building the Morris chair and/or a prairie settle for a while. This book would likely put me over the hump and get me going on the project!
I like Paolini's work. Nice designs, too.
Looks like a book I need. My 1913 bungalow is asking for more period pieces and I would love to have the guidance of an expert to increase my skills, even if only through a book! I envy the grandchildren of the man who is mentoring them in learning woodworking!
I have Gregory Paolini's book on cabinet building and it is very thorough and easy to follow. I'd love to have this one on Arts and Crafts furniture, my favorite style. Thanks for the opportunity.
Looks like some inspiring projects
I made one of Paolini's bookcases. This book looks like it would have some nice pieces that would complement the bookcase.
I am fan of Gregory Paolini and the Arts & Craft Furniture. I would very much enjoy his latest publication .
Thank You!
Arts and Crafts design and furniture construction is the perfect foil for the home I currently live in, I have several pieces and have made a few but would like to expand my art with some of the items in this book.
Sounds like a great book. I have checked out every Arts and Crafts furniture book from the local library and looking for more ideas.
One of the most difficult aspects of Arts and Crafts style is "nailing" the beautiful stain on quarter-sawn white oak. The flecks pop with yellowish color when it is done correctly. I hope this book deals with this staining technique completely, but using modern stains. I'm not inclined to deal with ammonia-fuming on large furniture pieces!
I love A&C style almost as much as I love building A&C items! Could certainly put this book to good use!
I greatly enjoyed the Arts & Crafts coffee table build and would benefit from additional project plans. An Arts & Crafts dining room table is in my future, as soon as I can source the right material.

Thanks for the giveaway. I need this.
I love Arts and Craft furniture. This would be a great book to add to my library.
Into a major renovation to our century home. Additional furniture will be needed. I can not think of a better way to spend some time in my shop. Thank you for the opportunity of this free book.
I find Arts & Crafts furniture building very rewarding. With a birthday coming up, (hint, hint) this would make a great birthday gift from my favourite magazine!!
We have the intention of adding some Arts and Crafts furniture to that which we already own and I would welcome some guidance on building it, rather than where to purchase it.
Thanks for the opportunity.
I am a huge fan of Arts and Crafts style furniture. I have seven Morris Chairs under my belt, plus several smaller pieces. The book sounds great! Would love to have it
I've long been a fan of Greg's work. This would be a great addition to my woodworking library. I'd love to build some of these projects.

I'M CRAZY ABOUT THE ARTS AND CRAFTS STYLE, WINNING THIS BOOK BY GREG, WOULD BE LIKE ICING ON THE CAKE, NOT, LIKE GREG STANDING IN MY SHOP GIVING ME EXPERT PERSONAL INSTRUCTIONS.
I am taking an AutoCAD college class, reading/using SketchUp, this would be an awesome book to have..and especially to win..!!
Looks like another tried & true book from Taunton Press and Fine Woodworking. I'd love to win a copy and start a project.
I've been doing Arts and Crafts for a few years now. I love the style and would enjoy learning more.
Looks interesting!

Would love to own this book.
I would love this boot. My next project is going to be a Morris Chair.
Arts and Crafts/ Craftsman is easily my favorite style of furniture. I would love the opportunity to read and offer my thoughts on it for my fellow "blogees".
Never enough Arts and Crafts books.
After I win the giveaway, I will have a better perspective on the book and its contents. Thanks for the chance.
Looks like a great book, I'm looking forward to adding it to my collection of Taunton publications!
Our house is full of arts and crafts furniture that we have bought and some that I have made. This is a must-have book.
I never win anything, BUT I keep trying!
Interesting book!
I make Arts and Crafts furniture in my shop. I have MANY books on the subject. One more would be great. I have been a subscriber to FWW for more than 20 years (yes I am Old) and it is the best publication I have every seen, bar none. I plan to subscribe till I'm gone, and then they will still come as I renew for 3 years at a time. Wish there was a life time subscription rate.
Please enter me in book giveaway.
I'll try once again.
Would love to have this book.
You had me at Greene&Greene.
Most of the furniture I build is Arts and Crafts, so a new book of Arts and Crafts projects is very welcome.
Looking forward to gaining skills as I build more Arts and Crafts pieces.
I love Arts and Crafts furniture. This past summer I built a modified version of an A&C bookcase featured in a FWW article several years back by Gregory Paolini. It was a challenge for my novice skill level, but it turned out pretty good (pictures of it in the Start Woodworking gallery). I'd love to have a book like this, as I plan to continue with A&C projects - a chest of drawers, bedside table, and a Morris chair.
Even if I don't win, I'll be adding this book to my library.
Arts and Crafts style furniture is a favorite of mine especially the Morris Chair.
Looks like a great book. I can't wait to get my free or paid for copy.
I read everything I can get on Arts and Crafts. Would like to get this book!
Love arts and crafts furniture.
This would be an excellent book to start some new projects this year!
This book would help me immensely as I am starting to create an Arts & Crafts living room.
Gorgeous furniture
This would be nice to add to my collection! :-)
I'm a big fan of Gregory's articles in FWW, and I'm looking forward to reading his book.
Would love one of these books, Down Under ;-{)
Just came back from the Grove Park Inn in Ashville, NC. They have the most amazing Art's and Craft period furnishings from Stickley and Roycroft that exists in the world. The furniture is not just there on display. You can sit in any of the chairs, use the tables and take all of the pictures you want. I would love to have this book to add to my collection of the A & C period furnishings.
Love to have it
I'd love to have this book.
I wonder if anyone other than the editors who have to scan for our comment actually reads all of these comments.
Eh, who am I kidding? We all know there was some meticulous woodworker whose OCD flared up just a bit and made him read every comment. . .
I very much like the arts and craft style furniture. As a hobby type woodworker for over 55 years, I have built some furniture reflecting that style. I would very much like to have the book. Thanks for the opportunity JORGE
