I have been a Fine Wood Working reader from the first issue and very much enjoy Shop Talk Live (never miss it) and I whole-heartedly support your resuming the video dimension. Generally, seeing you all react to the subject matter and to each other makes for an even better show.
More specifically, I've experienced a lot of noise in my life and have paid the price with diminished hearing. I'll bet there are a lot of wood workers out there who have developed some lip-reading skills out of necessity as I have. Being able to see you all talk really helps me pick up every word. Thanks a lot.

Anyone use a ceiling fan (or fans) in their woodshop? Soon, I anticipate having a purpose-built shop constructed (with 12'ceiling), and am planning to use ventilation/air movement to create a workable environment whenever possible. (I live in Texas, so the challenge is primarily cooling, rather than heating, the shop.)
At this point, I expect to use a grid of ceiling mounted 4', 4-bulb, T8 fluorescent fixtures for artificial lighting. Would having the ceiling fan suspended below the lights result in a distracting strobing effect?
All thoughts/responses appreciated.
thanks for sharing this video.its really helpful.
