Good luck in your new adventure Ed. We are all going to miss the voice of ShopTalk Live.
Thanks, Ed, for all the creative and entertaining podcast antics. Let us know where you're going. All the best.
Ed,
You will be missed. Best of luck with your new adventure.
Ed, I'm sorry to hear you're leaving. You've done a fantastic job at FWW. I've really enjoyed the podcast and your videos.
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for your kind remarks. I do hope to be able to appear on FW.com in some way in the future!
Cheers,
Ed
Don't worry Matt can make fun of anyone. Good luck Edward!
Ed,
Thanks for all of your work on the podcasts and at FW. I think I have listened to every episode, several more than once. Mixed in with the jokes and banter are true gems. I loved the interviews with various woodworkers that you presented on the podcasts. Those are real treasures, and they gave your audience a better chance to appreciate the personalities of the many contributor's to the magazine in ways that the print articles could not. There have also been many great discussions along the way and I learn something every episode.
Here's your 5 star rating!
I wish you luck as you move forward.
Andy
Thanks Ed for starting this great addition to the FWW experience. I have listened to every episode and have enjoyed every one. You have definitely earned that sweet five star rating. I hope you get called back occasionally for a guest spot to keep Matt in check. Stay sharp.
I also hope that FWW sees the value in the pod cast and will make a real effort to keep it going. This has become a staple for many of your customers and a very anticipated part of our FWW experience. Ed and the team have set a high bar, and we expect nothing less.
Ed,
Duuuuuude ?!?! What do you mean you're leaving ?!?!
I've listened to the team podcast from Day 1, and you have done a fantastic job of adding value to a magazine that was/is #1 in the industry.
I listen to all the Shop Talk podcasts at least twice, once for the entertainment, and again to get as much learning as I can from your outstanding content. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who does that, and that's a credit to the format, and the great camaraderie you've developed.
To the STL team, keep the momentum going !
Ed, I wish you best of luck in your new adventure, keep woodworking !
Regards,
Erick
Ed, wow you're blowing my mind of all the guys I would want to see go your aren't one of them......kidding. Seriously, you guys do a great job together and I am sure you can keep it going but it won't be the same without you. I hope this is temporary.
Best of luck! Will you be making guest appearances..?? please!
Ed,
First of all, best of luck to you as you move forward, I hope that the move is a positive one for you and your family.
Second, a sincere thank you for what you brought to Fine Woodworking. Perhaps the ones that should really be thanking you, however, are the folks at Lie Nielsen and Lee Valley. Without your podcast, they would not have so much of my hard earned money.
You, and of course, Matt, Mike, Asa and the others have prompted me to further pursue this great hobby, and for that I am most grateful.
Best wishes!
Sincerely,
Michael Ek

My best as well. I have really appreciated your voice on matters. I loved your interview with Robin Lee of Lee Valley and the dozens and dozens of print pieces and videos you did.
Safe travels.
