We have a winner!
Do you need a workbench? Or do you need to improve the one you’ve got? Fine Woodworking Best Workbenches is a collection of articles from the magazine and provides all sorts of great info to get you working on that workbench. You can build your own – there are at least eight project articles for different workbench styles in the book– or you can tweak the bench you already have. The book also covers holding workpieces and other bench accessories, improving workbenches, and specialized workbenches. When you win this book you’ll have no excuse not to have the workbench of your dreams.
And the winner is: Armynick. His comment was chosen at random.
Be sure to check back often for more great giveaways.

It'd be nice to have a good workbench book, when I get around to replacing the temporary workbench I built when the boys were teenagers (knowing they'd be pretty hard on it). After all, they're only 39 and 43 now, so it hasn't been too long.
So give me the book already and I will build a workbench that will rock your socks off!! ;)
Currently working on a bench for a Christmas present.

One Nicholson Workbench (no vise just a crochet) made from pressure treated lumber for outdoor use. No parts to rust, just a few holdfast that will store in a portable tool chest.

New shop. Need new workbench(es).
would be a great tool for building tools.
A good workbench is probably the single most important tool in the shop. I am building a new shop and seeking ideas for the 3 benches I plan on building.
I'm in.
"Why do you need such a big workbench?" she asked. "Why are you spending all this money on a workbench?" she asked. "Why can't you just use the table?" she asked. Well, I need to build a new bench now because I can't keep her and her crafts off of mine!!
Nice!!
I need to build my heirloom bench.
Let's get started building that bench!!!!
looking to build my first workbench and need some good ideas.
Reigniting a dormant love for working wood I am starting to build furniture. Having collected a few tools I am currently using a sturdy table to complete projects. Several initial projects included building jigs and additions to shop tools for added safety and convenience, but quickly transitioned to new requirements from my wife. I wanted to start into the craft, building or up-cycling smaller furniture items, to understand design, construction, and finishing techniques prior to defining my bench requirements. Now seems like the time to build that bench with integrated storage to support the expansion of my scope and capability in the craft.
Time to finally get in gear and build my own bench. This looks like the
book to have.
I want to see different ways to upgrade my bench. I believe this book has what I'm looking for.
I just bought a 3/4" drill bit for dog holes...
let's try again, we love benches
Pick me! Pick me!
Read the library's copy, wouldn't mind owning it.

time to build a workbench for christmas!
Would love this book. Have small shop in 2 car garage. This book would allow me to build a better bench with storage. A better fit for my shop.
My 2 car garage that doubles as a shop could really use a bench and of course...I'm not going to go buy one!! :)
Forget the shoes, Daddy needs a new workbench!!!!
I'd love a copy. Thanks ,Barry
I am pretty new to this so I am trying to gather as much information on methods and techniques of doing joinery and fine woodworking. I am assembling my shop in my garage and could always use advise on equipment and tools as well as other areas. I have to go but will be back.
This book seems promising. It would be an excellent addition to my library.
