Recently I was in a conversation with a fellow woodworker and new SketchUp user. He has been working on a model of a small box with a hinged lid. He wants to add a cove-shaped recess to the front pieces of the box to make a sort of finger pull for opening it. In the shop the coves would probably be cut with a router and a cove or core box bit. It isn’t all the difficult to do in SketchUp using Follow Me but there are a few important details that need to be considered. This video demonstrates how to make the cove.
