Why hide glue matters and why waxes without silicone matter Is simple.... Does the craft person care on the longevity of thier pieces? What craftspeople don't understand is yellow glue will fail, and silicone waxes will affect every finishes in time. Lastly Hide glue is the only glue to stick to itself while yellow glue will not. I can go on and on but I won't bore you.
I guess think about the next generation of owners who want to cherish your items....
