Thanks Mike; another informative and well made video. I liked the use of a jack for final smoothing as well.
Thanks Mike....great tutorial.
You know what, the day I started to learn to get my blades sharp was the day I started to like using hand planes.
Cheers
Very informative. I'm new to hand planes, so I appreciate your attention to the smallest of details as it gives me a better understanding. Thank you for a great video series!
Great series, lots of good pointers. Very clear and thorough without being too long.
Almost as good as you are in person. Tom Hanks has nothing on you.
BTW, where did you get that great shop apron? Just what I've been looking for.
Refreshingly clear and precise presentation. The time you took to do so is evident. It's a pleasure to learn from an expert without the need for excessive prattle. Many thanks.
Mike,
This was the first "recipe" I've seen for putting a hook on card scrapers that actually...works. My card scrapers are now in the best cutting shape they've ever been in and I look forward to using them in my guitar work.
Can't thank you enough.
