will plans be available?
Plans are on there way. They should be posted next week.
I'm getting ready to glue up the case for a dresser and was looking for tips. I was amazed to see Chris apply glue fully across the sliding dovetails. Everything I've read says you shouldn't do that because it will keep the sides from moving and they'll likely split. What did I get wrong? I'd prefer to do the same if it's not likely to cause damage. Is there some extenuating circumstance?
In this case, the grain is going in the same direction. So it'll all move together. If you're dealing with a crossgrain joint, you'll just want to glue the end.
thanks Ben.
Guess I should have watched the preceding videos.
