SYRACUSE, NY (June 29, 2020) – Oneida Air Systems introduces a new dust collector designed specifically for use on a workbench—the Oneida BenchTop DC™. Its unique design allows it to fit conveniently on a workbench behind the working area, where it moves airborne dust away from the source (and the user’s breathing zone) and into the unit’s highly efficient dual-filter system. This portable unit delivers powerful source collection for hand tools lacking built-in or adequately sized dust ports, and for any activity that puts users in close proximity to dust generation.

Featuring six high-performance fan motors for a quiet and uniform airflow and increased static pressure, the industrial-grade Oneida BenchTop DC delivers up to 535 CFM—ideal for capturing airborne dust at the source. A variable speed control allows the user to adjust the fan speed to meet their individual needs.

The system’s functional hood design includes removable vanes which ensure maximum airflow from the work area directly to the filter. The unique vane configuration, thin unit profile, and exceptional CFM and filtration performance make the Oneida BenchTop DC ideal for a large variety of applications and tools, particularly those that produce fine dust such as wood carving, hand sanders, and rotary tools.

Designed to withstand the demands of a workshop environment, the Oneida Benchtop DC’s powder-coated steel frame is built-to-last. The unit’s dual-filter system features a washable MERV 5 pre-filter, which captures larger particles to extend the longevity of the wide-pleated, high-performance MERV 15 main filter.

Measuring 25” wide by 16” tall by 7” deep and weighing 20 lbs., the compact Oneida BenchTop DC is ideally suited for placement on a workstation to collect dust at the source. Alternatively, for ambient collection, it can be hung from the ceiling using two threaded inserts along the unit’s top. An integrated supplemental 110V outlet allows small hand tools or accessories to be powered right through the collector.
