Video: Testing the wall-mounted dust collectors
Asa Christiana discusses the benefits of using a wall-mounted dust collector and the tests he performed to find out which collectors stood out.In the 2020-21 Tools & Shops issue of Fine Woodworking, we put wall-mounted dust collectors through a series of tests and rated them for power, bag capacity and ease of attachment, chip collection, and portability. Models tested are: Grizzly G0785, Rikon 60-101, Rockler Dust Right 650 CFM, Rocker Dust Right 1250 CFM, Shop Fox W1844, Shop Fox W1826.
Tool Test: Wall-mounted dust collectors
Wall-mounted dust collectors are a great way to get dust collection in a shop or to add to the dust collection system you already have. They don’t take up any valuable floor space and they’re pretty affordable. The six collectors we looked at range in price from $200 to $800 and have some serious filtration. Since the smallest dust particles are the most dangerous–they hang in the air the longest and they penetrate the deepest into your airways—in this review we insisted that we have as fine a filtration as we can. Our cutoff point was 2.5 microns or smaller, but most of the collectors in this review will filter particles as small as 1 micron.

Still need a cyclone chip (Oneida) separator in line 1st for these types of units to be effective otherwise the filters will plug up fast.
I saw no video test just talking :-(
it's quite disappointing that FW is moving more and more of the content to the online edition for which you have to pay extra.
So this was really nothing more than a "teaser" or advertising video.
The written article was not much better, IMO. The article slants the results towards the Rockler units. Features mentioned as being a plus on the Rockler, are included on the other machines as well. Though, it was only hyped on the Rockler. I was very disappointed with the article and the comparison.
